Cops release images of woman wanted for pushing subway rider onto Brooklyn tracks

The NYPD on Friday released images of a woman wanted for hurling a straphanger onto the tracks at a Brooklyn subway station.

The victim, a 58-year-old woman, was standing on the Manhattan-bound A train platform of the Lafayette Ave. station in Fort Greene when the suspect attacked her around 10 p.m. on Jan. 8, cops said.

Some good Samaritans helped the victim back onto the tracks while the suspect fled the station on foot, according to law enforcement.

Police are looking for a woman with a medium complexion last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
