Jill Zarin fired from ‘RHONY’ reunion after racist Bad Bunny rant

Former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Jill Zarin has been fired from the upcoming E! reunion show, “The Golden Life,” following her racist rant about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.

In a now-deleted Instagram video, Zarin reacted to the performance by calling it “the worst halftime show ever.”

“It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” she said. “I don’t speak Spanish. I would’ve liked to know the words he was saying.”

The reality star added that she viewed the performance as a political statement in reaction to the “ICE thing,” while claiming there were “literally no white people in the entire thing,” despite Lady Gaga being one of the special guests.

Zarin then criticized the NFL for “selling out” by choosing Bad Bunny as its halftime headliner, describing the situation as “very sad” for a league celebrating 75 years.

After the video went viral and prompted immediate backlash, Zarin was dropped from “The Golden Life” by the show’s producer, Blink49 Studios.

Zarin was originally set to appear in the 10-episode docuseries alongside follow “RHONY” alums Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Kelly Bensimon.

“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life,’” the studio said in a statement to Variety on Tuesday. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

No official release date has been announced for “The Golden Life,” though filming is expected to being in South Florida this spring.
