A man is clinging to life after he was shot in the head Saturday morning outside a Queens laundromat, cops said.
The 31-year-old was shot in front of the Super Laundry Laundromat at the Conduit Plaza shopping strip around 8:37 a.m. near Springfield Blvd. and 144th Ave. in Laurelton.
“I heard a pop, I come to the front of the door and I see a guy in green camo running,” a man named Mohammad who works at a nearby Edible Arrangements shop said.
“I thought this was a safe area but it’s making me second guess,” he added.
EMS rushed the man to Jamaica Hospital where he was in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
Another man, Asim, said witnessing the incident was traumatizing.
“I heard the gunshot and I thought I was imagining, and usually planes fly overhead, so I thought it was the planes malfunctioning,” he said. “I saw the victim’s mother crying and screaming and I was like, heck is actually happening.
“It was scary, very scary and I was all teared up seeing the mother and the young man on the ground,” he said. “I wanted to just go home because it hurt me so much.”
