A pair of crooks armed with a gun and a knife carjacked a Queens Domino’s delivery driver — only to abandon the stolen SUV on the Lower East Side, police said Wednesday.
The 34-year-old victim had just dropped off a Dominio’s order on 88th Road near 80th St. in Woodhaven about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday when the robbers, one flashing a gun, the other a knife, confronted him, cops said.
The crooks dragged the victim out of his his Toyota 4Runner and after a brief tussle jumped into his vehicle and sped off.
They headed west into Manhattan, where they abandoned the SUV on Norfolk St. near the Williamsburg Bridge, cops said.
The carjackers have not been caught.
The Domino’s driver was not hurt. The knife one of the crooks wielded was recovered at the scene and vouchered for evidence, cops said.
