Kanye West is being sued for allegedly sucker-punching a man at the Chateau Marmont two years ago, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles.
The unidentified plaintiff claims the rapper known as Ye approached his table without warning and punched him in the face.The man claims the punch knocked him to the ground and he “hit his head and lost consciousness.”
The suit alleges the rapper then repeatedly struck the man as he lay on the ground at the iconic West Hollywood hotspot in April 2024.
The plaintiff, suing as John Doe, claims the alleged attack and Ye’s subsequent accusations caused physical injuries and severe emotional distress.
The lawsuit was first reported by TMZ.
