Rep. Lauren Boebert’s face froze up from Botox injections during an awkward interview moment — as she railed against GOPers trying “muscle her” for a vote.
The Colorado Republican, 39, was fuming about a National Defense Authorization Act backroom deal Wednesday when something began to needle her, she told TMZ.
“I don’t want to be on camera this week, and I’ve been on camera more than any other week,” Boebert revealed — pointing at her partially paralyzed bottom lip.
“I am talking out of the side of my mouth like a damn politician, ’cause my Botox hasn’t caught up on this side. Maybe in two days, this side will catch up to the other side, but here we are,” she admitted in the video footage.
The beauty blunder unfolded after Boebert said she missed a vote for the sweeping annual defense policy bill because unnamed GOP staffers lied to her.
She insisted she’d objected to a “tech swap” between the US and Israel and wanted that section removed from the bill.
Boebert was still negotiating as voting approached Wednesday, when Republican staffers told her they’d keep the vote open for her — then didn’t keep their word, she said.
In 2024, Boebert poked fun at herself while admitting on a Rumble livestream that she used Botox.
“I’m a fan of Botox,” Boebert said — quipping that her students had confused her with then-84-year-old former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Boebert became a grandma at age 36 when her oldest son, Tyler, had a baby at 18.
A crooked smile is one side effect of the cosmetic procedure, and injections generally start working one to three days after treatment.
