A man was fatally shot in the head and a woman wounded in upper Manhattan early Sunday, police said.
Cops believe the victims may have been in a vehicle coming into Manhattan from New Jersey when they shot by someone trailing them, according to emergency radio transmissions.
The victims, both 21, arrived at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia in Washington Heights by private means just after 6 a.m.
The man couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately released.
The woman, shot in the shoulder, was transferred to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.
An NYPD spokesman could not immediately provide the location where the shooting took place. No arrests have been made.
