Giants star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence is expected to be out “long term” with the elbow injury he suffered Thursday, head coach Brian Daboll said, potentially ending his season.
“We’ll still take a look at a few different things, but not very optimistic about it,” Daboll said during a virtual press conference Friday.
Lawrence, with his left arm in a sling, said after the 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas, that he suffered an elbow dislocation.
The two-time Pro Bowler leads the Giants with 9.0 sacks this season.
