Where to buy tickets, best prices

Holiday cheer is overrated.

If you’re over the “hap-hap-happiest time of the year!,” you may want to check out Morrissey‘s — aka “the Pope of Mope” — three shows to close out 2024.

The former The Smiths frontman is scheduled to headline at Los Angeles’ The United Theater on Broadway on Dec. 28-29 and then the Hollywood Palladium on Dec. 31 with special guest Mariachi El Bronx.

“LOVE IS ON ITS WAY IN,” the 65-year-old shared on Instagram.

For those that attend the New Year’s Eve gig, Moz will treat his fans to a midnight countdown and — spoiler alert — balloon drop.

And, while we promised the opposite of cheer, that might not be exactly what Morrissey delivers at these gigs. In fact, he’s been quite happy touring this past year.

“These recent shows have been euphoric,” he told writer Fiona Dodwell. “Little Rock in Arkansas, Birmingham in Alabama, Knoxville in Tennessee, Indianapolis in Indiana … there’s an overwhelming welcome from everyone that seems to recognize the inordinate slander that I’ve endured over recent years. It is baffling to look out at the audience who are trying to get onto the stage when I sing … but at the same time there is no way that I can interest anyone in the music industry.”

Can’t wait to sing along to “How Soon Is Now” and a number of classic solo cuts like “Speedway,” “I Will See You In Far-Off Places” and so many more?

You’re in luck. As of now, tickets are available for the trio of “Moz Angeles” gigs.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one show was $147.70 including fees on Vivid Seats.

Other concerts have seats starting at $279 and $320 including fees.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.
