‘Most expensive’ home in the Palisades had 18 beds, rented for $450K per month

The “most expensive home” in the Pacific Palisades has been destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.

The 18-bedroom mansion, which featured sweeping views out to the Pacific Ocean, was worth an eye-popping $125 million, per the Daily Mail, who first reported on its incineration.

The megamansion, which is owned by Luminar Technologies boss Austin Russell, 29, was on the market to rent for $450,000 per month when the blaze broke out.

The property was featured on the fourth season of the hit HBO show in “Succession” in 2023, serving as a luxury pad occupied by the fictional Roy siblings.

Russell bought the home in 2021 for $83 million. Prior to the blaze, the house also boasted six bathrooms, a “Nobu-designed chef’s kitchen” and a 20-seater theater.

The futuristic four-story mansion additionally had a temperature-controlled wine cellar in the basement, and a retractable roof “for stargazing.” Lush backyard gardens also surrounded a state-of-the-art swimming pool.

The backyard was the backdrop for various scenes featuring Roy siblings Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin), and Shiv (Sarah Snook).

Nothing remains of the house, not even the home’s two panic rooms, per the Daily Mail.

As of Saturday, the deadly Los Angeles wildfires have already scorched tens of thousands of acres of land, and are showing no signs of waning.

The death toll currently stands at 1, with authorities now deploying arson investigators to the Pacific Palisades to determine the origin of that blaze.

“The cause of the fire remains unknown, and it continues to be under active investigation,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said on Thursday.

But the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News Digital on Thursday, “We have not received any reports of arson.”

The city, meanwhile, has now acknowledged that it ran out of water from its hydrants while fighting the horrific Palisades Fire the first day, thanks to reported mismanagement of its supply and operational issues.

Mayor Karen Bass, who was in Ghana when the fires erupted, has been blasted for cutting funding to the fire department by $18 million months earlier.

A look at all the celebrities who have homes near or in the fires.

Khloe Kardashian called out the elected official on Friday, writing on her Instagram Stories: “Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!”
