This ticket was less than golden.
Timothée Chalamet, 29, took a ride to the London premiere of his film “A Complete Unknown” — and it ended up costing him.
The actor revealed that he took a Lime bike to the event, which he was photographed riding onto the carpet.
“There was a traffic jam,” Chalamet recalled while on the French talk show “Quotidien” in a clip posted on X, formerly Twitter. “And I actually wasn’t allowed to park there [at the premiere], and I got a £65 ($79) fine.”
“And actually it’s horrible because it was actually kind of an advert for them,” he added.
Chalamet jokingly defended his choice of transportation, telling the show’s audience, “it’s ecological,” which garnerd a round of laughs.
The “Dune” star went viral on Tuesday as he rode onto the red carpet in the British capital.
Lime bikes, which are electric bicycles, can be rented out for short term use and are available in more than 280 cities in nearly 30 countries on five continents, per the company’s website.
Chalamet stars as a young Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown” alongside Monica Barbaro, Elle Fanning and Edward Norton.
The role earned the “Wonka” star a 2025 Golden Globe nomination for best male actor in a drama. During the award show, which he attended with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, Chalamet lost to Adrien Brody in “The Brutalist.”
He’s also up against Brody, 51, at the Critics’ Choice and Screen Actors Guild awards.
In November, Chalamet got candid on channeling the legendary folksinger for half a decade.
“It was something I would go to sleep panicked about, losing a moment of discovery as the character — no matter how pretentious that sounds — because I was on my phone or because of any distraction,” he told Rolling Stone. “I had three months of my life to play Bob Dylan, after five years of preparing to play him. So while I was in it, that was my eternal focus.”
“He deserved that and then more,” continued Chalamet. “God forbid I missed a step because I was being Timmy. I could be Timmy for the rest of my life!”
The Academy Award nominee noted: “I had to push the preparation, the bounds, almost to psychologically know I had pushed it.”
At the time, Chalamet also took a moment to reflect on parallels between his career and Dylan’s, and how he could relate to the musician’s journey.
“If he couldn’t become Elvis or Buddy Holly immediately, he found Woody Guthrie and stuff that was a little more accomplishable, and happened to be really good at it,” he recounted of Dylan, 83.
That part of Dylan’s life “immediately hit a bone with me,” said Chalamet.
“I was knocking on one door that wouldn’t open. So I went to what I thought was a more humble door [with indie roles], but actually ended up being explosive for me.”
