Kid Rock used a pre-Inauguration Day interview to shamelessly flirt with a BBC journalist — telling her she “sounds sexy” and inviting her to go skiing with him.
Clips shared online Monday show the “Bawitdaba” rocker hitting on BBC news presenter Caitríona Perry in an interview about his performance Sunday at President Trump’s victory rally.
“What about you? What are you doing? Where you at?” he asked his interviewer, who said he was likely having more fun than her.
After a puff of his cigar, the rocker — real name Robert James Ritchie — told Perry flirtily: “I can’t see you right now, so I don’t know what you look like.”
When the flustered-sounding interviewer said she looked “ready to hit this slopes” — in “full-on ski gear” because of the cold in Washington, DC — the rocker appeared to find a new favorite hobby.
“I love to go skiing,” he told Perry. “You sound sexy — you want to go with me?”
Perry replied with a laugh: “Well, we won’t get into that right here! We’re doing no skiing here, we’ve got a day of broadcasting to do.”
Rock took the stage Sunday at Trump’s Make America Great Again Rally in Washington, DC, along with Carrie Underwood to kick off inauguration celebrations.
The singer has frequently referred to Trump as a “great friend” and one of his “besties.”
He was one of the first mainstream entertainers to support the former “Apprentice” host when he ran for president in 2016.
Longtime Trump favorite the Village People closed out Sunday’s rally with their hit “YMCA,” which spurred the birth of the “Trump dance” and has been a mainstay during the 2024 campaign.
