Towering Trump!
Barron Trump attended his dad Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration on Monday.
The 18-year-old was in the Rotunda at the US Capitol in Washington D.C. to witness his father, 78, be sworn in as the 47th president.
Eight years ago, Barron was 10 years old at Trump’s first presidential inauguration, which was held outside the US Capitol. He similarly wore a black suit with a blue tie at the 2017 inauguration.
Barron wore a black suit with a blue tie. He entered the room with his siblings Donald Jr., 47, Ivanka, 43, Eric, 41, and Tiffany, 31.
He stood between his grandfather, Viktor Knavs, and his mother, Melanie Trump, for the ceremony.
All of Trump’s kids were at the inauguration, as were Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner and their kids Arabella, 13, Joseph, 11, and Theodore, 8. Tiffany’s husband, Michael Boulos, and Eric’s wife, Lara Trump, were also in attendance.
At one point, Trump awkwardly tried to kiss Melania on the cheek after entering the rotunda at the inauguration — but her hat appeared to be in the way.
Other political figures who were at the ceremony included Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Douglas Emhoff, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush.
Trump’s Vice President JD Vance his wife, Usha Vance, and their three children sat nearby.
Barron was shielded from the spotlight during his father’s first presidency.
At the time, he was enrolled at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland.
He later transferred to a private academy in Palm Beach, Florida after Trump lost the 2020 election and moved out of the White House.
As Trump becomes president again, Barron is currently a freshman in college at NYU’s Stern School of Business. He lives at Trump Tower in Midtown.
Melania, 54, recently opened up about Barron during an interview with Fox News.
“Whatever he would like to do,” Melania said of his future. “I feel as children, we have them till they are 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly.”
“I always respect Barron’s yes and no, and what he likes to do, where he would like to be,” she added.
In Oct. 2024, Trump revealed if Barron’s “had a girlfriend yet” in an interview with podcast host Patrick Bet-David.
“I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet,” Trump said, before calling his youngest son “a good looking guy.”
“He’s very, very smart. He’s a good student .. goes to a great school and does really well,” Trump said. “And he’s a very nice guy.”
“He doesn’t mind being alone, but he’s somebody that gets along with people,” the 45th president added.
Last month, Barron’s voice went viral as he was heard in a 17-second clip from the documentary series “Art of the Surge,” which shows Trump’s most recent presidential campaign.
The clip featured Trump introducing his youngest son to UFC founder Dana White on election night.
“Hello. How are you? It’s very nice to see you,” Barron said to a woman off-camera, before he met White.
“Hello. How are you? It’s very nice to finally meet you,” Barron went on.
Trump has said Barron was extremely influential in getting him to do interviews on alternative media during his campaign, such as Joe Rogan’s popular podcast.
Rogan attended Trump’s 2025 inauguration on Monday, alongside Jeff Bezos and his fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
