Woman, 65, stabbed multiple times by robbers during Queens home invasion

A 65-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times by a pair of intruders trying to rob her Queens apartment, police said Monday.

The attackers struck about 5:40 p.m. Sunday at a building on Roosevelt Ave. near Parsons Blvd. in Flushing, police said.

As they were checking apartment doors trying to find ones unlocked the victim stepped out of her home to throw out the garbage and was confronted, police said.

She was stabbed multiple times, with the attackers rummaging through her apartment then running off empty-handed.

Medics took the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens in stable condition.

The attackers have not been caught.
