A man’s body was found tied up and possibly shot off a Queens expressway Tuesday morning, police sources said.
The grisly discovery was made just before 9 a.m. in the weeds off the Clearview Expressway near Union Turnpike in Cunningham Park.
A driver with mechanical trouble discovered the victim after he pulled over on the side of the road, cops said.
The victim died at the scene. His body was badly decomposed but cops found that the man’s hands were bound, NYPD officials confirmed.
It’s suspected that the victim had been shot, according to a police source. A second police source described the death as “suspicious.”
Cops are awaiting the results of an autopsy to learn exactly how the man died as they worked to identify him.
