They knew he would never be “A Complete Unknown.”

Timothée Chalamet’s middle-school classmates predicted his future movie-star status.

In eighth grade, the Hell’s Kitchen native was voted “Most Likely to Become Famous” by his class at MS 54 on West 107th Street.

They also christened Chalamet, now 29, a “Party Animal” in the school yearbook.

The two-time Oscar nominee, who once crashed his own lookalike contest and dates Kylie Jenner, is up for Best Actor Sunday for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the biopic “A Complete Unknown.”

Chalamet went on to attend LaGuardia High School, and at his 2013 graduation from the “Fame School,” received the Drama Award.

“Even back in high school, Timothée had a way of completely drawing in an audience,” Demelina “Demi” Valonzo Zalayet, who graduated from LaGuardia with Chalamet, told The Post.

“His versatility as a performer was already clear, effortlessly shifting between different roles and energies … It brings me so much pride to see a classmate go from our amazing high school productions to excelling as a professional actor. Watching his journey unfold has been incredible.”

During his LaGuardia commencement, where he sang “Willkommen” from the musical “Cabaret,” the announcer said, “Your teachers describe you as the real deal. Able to act a wide spectrum from comedy to drama. Your peers love your character as Tiny Tim, the White Rapper.

Janelle Morillo gushed about the actor’s exceptional character in a recent TikTok post.

“High school was not an easy or graceful time for me at certain points, and Timothée Chalamet was one of the people who was incredibly kind to me, and for that I am super grateful,” she wrote, alongside a photo of her with the actor.

Chalamet has creativity in his genes.

His French-born father, Marc, is a journalist who works at the United Nations, and mother, Nicole Flender, a former ballerina and Broadway actress, is now a realtor with The Corcoran Group.

After high school, he attended Columbia University, but dropped out to make his film debut in “Men, Women & Children.” His castmates in the 2014 comedy-drama were Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler and Ansel Elgort, his classmate at LaGuardia.

He then enrolled at New York University’s Gallatin School, and in 2015, the school gave him a shout-out on X for starring in “A Prodigal Son” at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Bambi Everson, who went to LaGuardia with Chalamet’s mom, was blown away by his performance in the off-Broadway show.

“I told him I couldn’t take my eyes off of him when he was on stage and he reminded me in this play of a young James Dean,” she said.

She can never forget his affectionate response.

“Not only did he take my hand and thank me profusely, but he asked if he could hug me. I am an old lady, but I could not turn that down.”
