WASHINGTON — Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has unveiled his full guest list for President Trump’s first address to Congress this term — including key border officials, conservative media figures and a former Israeli hostage.
Johnson, 52, is bringing Noa Argamani, who endured 246 days in Hamas captivity, to observe Trump’s speech to a joint session of both chambers Tuesday.
The president’s address — which is not being called a formal “State of the Union” speech — is titled, “The Renewal of the American Dream” and will focus on the president’s early economic, immigration and foreign-policy accomplishments, White House officials told Fox News, which first reported on the House speaker’s guests.
Sources close to the White House told The Post that the address will be an “America First victory lap,” touting the administration’s “heavy” gains on blocking illegal migration across the southern border.
Noa garnered international headlines when footage of her kidnapping during Hamas’ massacre of Israelis at the Nova music festival on Oct. 7, 2023, went viral.
In the chilling video, a terrorist drove away with Argamani on the back of his motorbike as she pleaded, “Don’t kill me!”
She has recounted in recent speeches before the UN Security Council how the jihadists starved, dehydrated and brutalized Israeli captives.
“I can tell you this is exactly how the [remaining] hostages are feeling today — abandoned by the world,” the freed captive told UN diplomats.
“The deal must go on in full,” she said of the fragile ceasefire between the Palestinian terror group and Israel at the time.
Also attending the event as Johnson’s guests will be Trump’s border czar Tom Homan and Ben Dell, chairman of the natural gas firm Commonwealth LNG, which is developing an export terminal on the coast of the Gulf of America near Cameron, La.
The project received a permit after the confirmation of Energy Secretary Chris Wright, reversing a pause by former President Joe Biden on liquified natural gas.
Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement during Trump’s first term, has hit the ground running by arresting hundreds of criminal migrants and putting them in removal proceedings.
Johnson also extended an invite to fellow Louisiana resident Olivia Hayes, the widow of Wesley Hayes, who was struck and killed by an illegal migrant who was driving drunk, and she will attend.
The Republican leader is putting Daily Wire hosts Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh in reserved seats in the gallery, too, to watch Trump’s speech.
