A 14-year-old boy is facing attempted murder charges for a opening fire with two teen accomplices on a Brooklyn street, police said Tuesday.
The three teens shot up a storefront and parked unoccupied vehicle outside NYCHA’s Tilden Houses on Dumont Ave. near Rockaway Ave. in Brownsville about 4:15 p.m. Jan. 13, cops said. No one was hit.
The next day the NYPD released surveillance footage of all three suspects and asked the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.
Investigators arrested a 17-year-old boy for the shooting on Jan. 24. A second suspect, 18-year-old Josiah Brown, 18, was arrested on Sunday, with the 14-year-old nabbed the next day. The two younger suspect’s names were not released after their arrests because they are juveniles.
All three teens are charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
Brown was ordered held on $200,000 bail at his arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court Monday.
