Ne-Yo opens up about polyamorous ‘pyramid’ with 4 girlfriends

Ne-Yo is introducing the world to his new polyamorous lifestyle, sharing photos of his four girlfriends.

The “So Sick” singer took to Instagram to formally present his “pyramid” relationship to his followers saying, “Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly,” Ne-Yo wrote on Instagram. “LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID.”

The 45-year-old musician went on to introduce all four of the women paired with photos of and videos of the five of them writing, “Say something nice or move on with your life. We happy over here.”

Comments for the post were turned off.

He added their names and IG handles to the caption: “CRISTINA aka PB (Pretty Baby) @daddys_pretty_baby__ @glowingtouch_atl ARIELLE aka TF (Twin Flame) @ariellehill @thrutunnelvision,” Ne-Yo wrote, tagging each of his girlfriends’ profiles. “MONEII aka PF (Phoenix Feather) @phoenixx__feather @facesbysecret_ BRI aka SLS (Sexy Lil’ Somethin’) @bestofbri @move_with_bri.”

Three of the women — Moneii, Cristina and Arielle — call themselves the “wives” on their Instagram pages and even have a separate account, @the.mrs.lefts, dedicated to their relationship with him.

The page features several photos and videos of the three of them getting cozy with the Grammy winner. Meanwhile, the fourth woman, Bri Williams, only shares photos of her and the singer solo. Williams is one of Ne-Yo’s backup dancers.

The R&B star is dad to seven kids with three exes: two with former partner Monyetta Shaw, three with ex-wife Crystal Renay and two with ex-girlfriend Sadé Jenea.

Ne-Yo married Renay in 2016. The pair finalized their divorce in 2023.

In February, Ne-Yo spoke about how he explains his polyamorous lifestyle to his children when they ask him questions about his love life. “Honesty,” he said on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. “I’m not lying to nobody, not even my children.”

“It’s like, ‘Hey, this is daddy’s girlfriend,’” Ne-Yo added. “’And so is that, and so is that, and so is that.’”

The “Miss Independent” singer says his honesty is the main reason the arrangement works for him. “I ain’t manipulating nobody, I ain’t brainwash nobody, I ain’t lying to nobody,” Ne-Yo shared. “I set it out there. ‘Here’s what it is. I like you, but I also like her, and her and her. If you cool with that, come on we gonna have a great time.’”

He continued: “Everybody’s honest. Everybody’s telling the truth. Everybody is consenting. I feel like I wasted a lot of time just being dishonest about things, to the point where had I taken this approach initially, I could’ve saved myself a lot of headache and heartache.”

It’s unclear if Ne-Yo’s girlfriends have any relationships outside of the “pyramid.”
