‘7th Heaven’ dad Stephen Collins married to ‘superfan’ 40 years younger

Disgraced “7th Heaven” star Stephen Collins has allegedly married a “superfan” after his monumental fall from grace – and the woman is said to be 40 years his junior.

Collins, 77, was dubbed “America’s Dad” during his 10-year tenure as Reverend Eric Camden on the popular WB family drama. But his world — and reputation — came crashing down in 2014 when it was discovered he had been investigated for child sex abuse.

In a new ID docuseries titled “Hollywood Demons,” it was revealed where Collins has been since the shocking scandal forced him to leave Hollywood in shame.

According to the documentary, Collins is living in Fairfield, Iowa, with a 37-year-old “7th Heaven” “superfan” named Jenny Nagel.

“Stephen Collins now lives with a woman who is 40 years younger than him,” Dr. Drew Pinsky claimed in the upcoming special, which premieres Monday, March 24. “She was a superfan.”

“The age difference — given what we know about his history — certainly raises an eyebrow,” Dr. Pinsky added. “Let’s hope he can commit to this woman and not perpetrate on others.”

The “All the President’s Men” actor was first linked to Nagel in 2019, per Daily Mail. The outlet claimed Collins and Nagel got married. It also reported that the pair regularly attend transcendental meditation sessions together.

Collins himself did not participate in the premiere “Hollywood Demons” episode — titled “Stephen Collins, America’s Dad.” The show’s producers reportedly reached out to “more than 100 contacts” connected to the disgraced actor, but “nearly everyone declined to participate or did not respond.”

Although none of the main cast members who played Collins’ seven children on “7th Heaven” appear in the special, two former cast members — Jeremy London and Kyle Searles — are featured reacting to the recording of Collins talking about exposing himself to minors and his follow-up “20/20” interview with Katie Couric later that same month.

“I’m kind of like shaking right now,” Searles, 39, said while watching the footage.

Searles, who appeared as the Camden family’s friend Mac on the show, also explained that it was his first time watching the “20/20” interview because when the scandal first broke, “It was me just trying to ‘stick your head in the sand’ kind of thing.”

“This is the first time that I’ve ever thought that he’s full of s–t,” he continued. “I’m not satisfied with this, I have, like, a knot in my stomach. My whole world changed when I had kids, my whole worldview.”

“I think that goes without being said, but you know what I mean,” Searles added. “I just think that I put him up on a professional pedestal a bit too much.”

As for London — who joined “7th Heaven” in Season 7 as a fellow minister — he said, “Stephen Collins was most certainly America’s dad, I wanted him to be my dad.”

He continued, “I was hearing some buzz but [thinking], ‘There’s not a chance in hell my Steve Collins is being accused of these things. You don’t accuse saints of things.’”

“It’s tough, it’s hard. I’m a dad first and foremost, above everything else,” London, 52, added. “So, my first thought goes to the children. Stephen Collins would be a dead man if that was my child.”

Collins first came under fire in 2014 when TMZ published a recording from a marriage counseling session the actor had with his then-wife, actress Faye Grant. He admitted to sexually abusing three underage girls from 1973 to 1994.

He then denied being attracted to young girls during his subsequent interview with Couric on “20/20.”

“I’m a flawed person,” Collins told Couric at the time. “In the church, it’s actually one of the things I love about the church. It’s really one of the main things about the Christian faith. Christ said in so many ways, ‘Bring me that which about you is broken, bring it,’ and most people are broken in some way.”

“Most people get to, or have to, or choose to hide it,” he continued. “This came out. I didn’t choose this to come out. I didn’t want to have to deal with these things publicly. I had dealt with them very, very strongly, and committedly, in my private life, but I think I’m a human being with flaws and I’ve done everything I can to address it.”

Although an investigation was launched into the claims against Collins in 2012, no charges were brought against him.

Collins’ rep did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment.
