A quick-thinking 10-year-old boy was nearly kidnapped on a Queens street but got away after kicking the suspect in the groin, police said Friday.
The boy then ran nearly six blocks to his school, P.S. 273, on 102nd St. near 88th Ave. in Woodhaven, and reported what had just happened.
The suspect ran off and is being sought.
The incident happened at 7:20 a.m. Thursday at 102nd St. and Atlantic Ave.
The boy told police that, as he was walking to school, the suspect grabbed him and tried to get him to come with him. Instead, the boy kicked the suspect where it hurts and took off.
The suspect was last seen wearing all black clothing, with a black ski mask.
