NFL MVP Jalen Hurts says he tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Bryonna “Bry” Burrows.
The surprising news follows the quarterback’s Super Bowl LIX victory with the Philadelphia Eagles in February.
“You can call her my wife,” he told editor Cori Ritchey about Burrows for a May/June 2025 cover story for Men’s Health magazine.
According to the outlet, Hurts came to the interview with a crumbled-up pink Post-It note in his pocket with a sweet message from his now-wife that read: “You are exactly where you are supposed to be. I love you. Follow God! I follow you.”
The 26-year-old star football player and the tech executive, who met while they were students at the University of Alabama in 2016, reportedly went public with their status during the 2022 NFC Championship between the Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.
They initially announced their engagement in September 2024 alongside a set of engagement snapshots on the beach that were given to Essence magazine.
Hurts and Burrows — both wearing white — could be seen in one of the images holding hands while surrounded by candles, with a violinist pictured in the background.
Ritchey reported the couple are keeping details of their nuptials under wraps, noting only that they got hitched sometime this spring.
