Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman will be subpoenaed in Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni trial: report

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal war is becoming a star-studded affair.

A source told the Daily Mail Tuesday that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman are allegedly going to be subpoenaed this week in Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ ongoing legal battle with Baldoni.

The insider claimed Lively’s famous friends will “definitely be served this week.”

“It could happen at any time,” the source alleged.

The source also claimed that Swift, 35, “has been waiting for a subpoena.”

Lively, 37, sued Baldoni, 41, in December and accused her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director of alleged sexual harassment and allegedly launching a smear campaign against her.

Baldoni later countersued the actress and Reynolds, 48, for $400 million, accusing the couple of defamation, civil extortion, false light invasion of privacy and more.

All parties have denied the other’s claims. Their trial has been set for March 2026.

Swift, who is close friends with Lively and Reynolds and is the godmother of their three daughters, was mentioned twice in Baldoni’s lawsuit against Lively.

His legal complaint from January included an alleged text conversation with Lively where she seemingly called Swift and Reynolds her “dragons” who protected her, like Khaleesi in “Game of Thrones.”

Baldoni claimed that Swift was present at a meeting that took place at Lively’s New York City penthouse they met to go over Lively’s rewrite of their movie’s rooftop scene. He alleged that Lively tried to intimidate him by using her relationship with Swift against him.

“She was with me throughout this whole process, so I think that, for better or worse, she experienced the whole thing with me,” Lively previously told “CBS Mornings” of Swift.

The “Cruel Summer” singer has not be seen in public with Lively since the legal battle with Baldoni began. A source told Page Six earlier this month that Lively apologized to Swift for dragging her into the drama.

“It was important to Blake to be on good terms again with Taylor. It was never her intention to hurt Taylor or cause any harm to their friendship,” an insider explained.

The source added that Swift “appreciated” Lively’s apology and “felt it was genuine and heartfelt.”

Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, hinted in February Swift could be called for deposition to “provide evidence” in the case.

“I think that that’s going to be probably a game time decision,” he said.

Jackman, for his part, is similarly close to Lively and Reynolds. He starred with Reynolds in 2024’s “Deadpool and Wolverine.”

Baldoni’s legal team has claimed that the character Nicepool from the Marvel film is a spoof of Baldoni.

Nicepool has a man bun, the hairstyle Baldoni wore for decades until 2023. Additionally, Lively’s character in the film “lights up” Nicepool in front of a flower shop, an apparent reference to her “It Ends With Us” character, a florist named Lily Bloom.

A source previously told the Daily Mail that “it’s unlikely Hugh wasn’t aware” of the alleged Nicepool insult.

Like Swift, Jackman has not publicly addressed Lively and Reynolds’ legal drama with Baldoni.
