The 3-year-old son of social media influencer Emilie Kiser died from drowning injuries on Sunday several days after being found unresponsive in the family’s backyard pool.
The Chandler (Arizona) Police Department said it received a drowning call around 7 p.m. on May 12. At the scene, a 3-year-old boy was being pulled out of a pool. Police officers who were first to the scene attempted CPR until firefighters arrived and took over attempting life-saving measures.
The child, later identified as Trigg Kiser, was taken to Chandler Regional Hospital and later flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he remained in critical condition for days until he died on Sunday.
Chandler is around 20 miles southeast of Phoenix.
The boy was set to turn 4 years old in July.

“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time,” Chandler Police Department spokesperson Sonu Wasu said Sunday.
“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing,” Wasu added. “This is still an open investigation. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed.”
Wasu said the circumstances surrounding the incident remained under investigation and no additional information would be released at this time.
Drowning is the leading cause of death for children, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Children account for 1 out of 4 drowning deaths, according to the Children’s Safety Network.
Emilie Kiser, 26, posts mom-and-lifestyle content on TikTok and Instagram for millions of followers with husband Brady Kiser. Their second child, Theodore, was born in March.
The family has not commented on the boy’s death.
