Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson is telling people that she and the Super Bowl-winning coach are headed for the altar.
The New York Times reported Tuesday that the former cheerleader, who recently placed second runner-up in the Miss Maine USA competition, “has told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.”
The outlet pointed to the apparent pink and white diamonds Hudson sported on her left ring finger in a photo she shared back in February to celebrate her 2021 “meetiversary” with the 73-year-old star coach.
Hudson and Belichick say they met on a Feb. 11, 2021 flight to West Palm Beach, a story she did not want him to recount during his recent interview on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
Hudson has faced significant backlash since she shut down Tony Dokoupil’s question about the meet-cute — declaring off-camera, “We’re not talking about this.”
Belichick released a subsequent statement dismissing the allegations that Hudson was trying to “control” the interview, which insiders told TMZ was delayed for 30 minutes after she allegedly stormed out.
Belichick rather insisted that Hudson was just “doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track,” highlighting his book, “The Art of Winnings — Lessons from My Life in Football.”
Shortly thereafter, the University of North Carolina, where Belichick is head football coach, had to deny reports that Hudson had been banned from its football field and facilities.
