A frantic dad chased down a man who abducted his 11-year-old daughter inside a Queens park, police said Tuesday.
The suspect, Teddy Moussignac, 44, was charged with kidnapping, sex abuse, criminal obstruction of breathing, forcible touching and assault.
Police said the father was walking behind his daughter as she rode her bike around 4:40 p.m. in Forest Park. At some point, the girl sped up and veered onto a less-traveled path.
The suspect, police said, then jumped out of the bushes and grabbed the girl, covering her nose and mouth with his hand and threatening her.
“If you scream, I’ll kill you,” Moussignac allegedly said. “I just need help with something.”
As he dragged the child deeper into the woods, Moussignac fondled her, police said, and punched her in the face and thigh to keep her quiet.
The father, meanwhile, raced to find his daughter. He saw her bike on the path, then quickly spotted her and the suspect.
He screamed out, police said, and Moussignac let go of the girl and walked off. But cops were quickly notified and drove the father and his daughter around the park until the suspect was spotted and nabbed.
The girl was treated at Jamaica Hospital for minor injuries.
The suspect has one prior arrest that is sealed.
