A 74-year-old unlicensed SUV driver has been arrested six months after fatally striking a pedestrian in East Harlem, police said Monday.
Donald Pinnock was charged Sunday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Pinnock was driving a black Nissan Rogue Sport downtown on Harlem River Drive when he fatally struck Willow Hall, 53, near E. 123rd St. about 5:50 a.m. Jan. 26, according to cops.
Hall, who lived in Hell’s Kitchen at a building for people with mental health issues, was trying to cross the parkway when he was struck. Medics rushed him to Harlem Hospital but he couldn’t be saved.
The driver, who lives in Mount Vernon, remained at the scene but was not charged until cops completed their investigation six months later.
