Man busted for trying to kiss woman’s feet in NYC subway, performing lewd act: NYPD


The straphanger wanted for kissing a woman’s feet, then performing a lewd sex act in front of her at a subway station in Manhattan, was busted Tuesday, police said,

Dexter Betancourt, 37, of the Upper East Side, was charged with public lewdness in the June 18 incident.

Police said that at 1 a.m. Betancourt and the 30-year-old victim got off an eastbound L train at the 14th St.-Sixth Ave. station in Greenwich Village, with the suspect trying to talk to her as she waited for another train.

When she rebuffed him, the suspect tried to kiss her feet and performed the lewd act before getting on an L train heading in the opposite direction, police said.

The NYPD later released a photo of Betancourt as they searched for him.
