The first official start of summer kicked off with a bang as some 15,000 fans came in for the Palm Tree Festival, held on the Shinnecock reservation on Saturday in Southampton.
The Palm Tree Crew’s fifth-annual concert, sponsored by REVOLVE, hosted Bravo’s “Summer House” veterans Kyle Cook, Amanda Batula and Carl Radke, as well as Logan Paul and “Love Island”‘s Kaylor Martin, who took in electronic acts such as Kygo, Fisher, Mau P, Blondish, Coco + Breezy, Tinx & Lucas, Benjamin Lloyd and Beau Cruz.
The AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) League made its much-anticipated stop at EHP Resort & Marina in East Hampton, taking over the stunning waterfront destination.
Held on Saturday and Sunday, the event featured four matches each day, showcasing powerhouse teams, including the Brooklyn Blaze, New York Nitro, Austin Aces and Dallas Dream. Both men’s and women’s teams brought high-intensity play, captivating an enthusiastic crowd.
Courtside was NBA legend Tracy McGrady and Olympic beach volleyball stars Lexy Denaburg, Corinne Quiggle and Miles Partain. A performance by Hello Brooklyn at Sí Sí capped off the weekend.
Can’t be tamed!
Call it a Hamptons hustle — half of Manhattan tried to escape the city heat for the first sunny Saturday in weeks — some on their way to Stacey Bendet’s annual alice + olivia event, “Can’t Be Tamed,” held at newly opened hot spot Mary Lou’s in Montauk on Friday.

The event celebrated the launch of a limited-edition capsule collection and two tricked-out Ford Broncos designed in collaboration with the fashion brand. Traffic was so backed up, model Georgia Fowler accidentally got into the wrong car service and had to make a last-minute pivot — hopping on a Blade helicopter to make it to the event. Bijou Phillips’ guitarist (who she shares with Lana Del Ray) got stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic before giving up and also catching a helicopter out east.
New York Fashion Week founder Fern Mallis was to be honored Friday night at the Sand & Style Soirée for the Heart of the Hamptons fundraiser at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club.
And the fashion crowd are clamoring for private exclusive appointments at the just-opened ODEUM (in an old mechanics garage that formerly housed cult-favorite brands MyTheresa and Flamingo Estates.) With coveted, hard-to-find brands, such as Taller Marmo, Maticevski, and Caravana — United Nomads, the creative force behind Scorpio’s Bazaar in Mykonos and Bodrum, is behind the new venture.
This Friday, the Uncharted Annual Summit of heavy hitters, power brokers and movers and shakers are convening on a private home in Southampton. The invite/application-only event brings together 600 founders, investors and creators for networking. Previous speakers have included NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and NFL legend Rob Gronkowski in 2023, as well as award-winning journalist Katie Couric.
Whimsy Motown Magic at the Southampton Arts Center will draw a fashion-y social crowd, with a special performance by That Motown Band; while the Grucci Fireworks event, which benefits the Southampton Fresh Air Fund, will take place at a private home in the estate section, both on Saturday.
This Sunday, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis arrives at Guild Hall for the grand finale of their 2025 tour. The show is already sold out, and tickets for Steel Pulse at Canoe Place Inn & Cottages, also Sunday, are also going fast…
