The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jen Affleck was getting a manicure when she abruptly went into labor in the middle of her appointment, leading to a medical check on the floor of the salon.
Affleck, who was 39 weeks pregnant, was sitting with the nail tech when she unexpectedly started having contractions, she explained in a TikTok video posted early Friday morning.
In the clip, the reality star can be seen casually making a phone call and telling someone, “I’m in labor right now.”

The 26-year-old can then be seen doing squats — while showing off her fresh manicure — and timing her contractions with her iPhone. When asked how’s she’s feeling she responds, “I’m feeling great!”
Affleck then lies on the floor of the salon while a woman, presumably her midwife, appears to perform a cervix check.
“The cervix check on the salon floor was the plot twist we all weren’t expecting,” her nail tech joked in the comments of the video.
Another asked, “If you gave birth at the salon, does that mean you get free nails the rest of your life?”
As of early Friday evening, it was unclear if Affleck had given birth to her baby.
Affleck announced in February she was expecting her third child with husband Zac, noting that while it was a “surprise,” they were “beyond excited.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, are already parents to 3-year-old Nora and 1-year-old Lucas.
