A shooting at a cookout in front of a Manhattan apartment building left three people — two men and a woman — wounded, cops said Thursday night.
Shots rang out just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of E. 122nd St. and Third Ave. in East Harlem, striking a 25-year-old woman in the right ankle, a 33-year-old man in the right leg and a 36-year-old man in the right leg, police said.
EMS took all three victims to local hospitals in stable condition.
In the confusion, a three-year-old boy also sustained minor injuries from a fall. EMS took the child to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
“I heard shots, lots of shots, and I ran,” said a 44-year-old woman who helped organize the cookout.
“We’re all having a little barbecue. We were all innocent bystanders. Two of the guys with us, and a woman was hit. I don’t know who they were shooting at,” said the woman, who did not want to be named.

About a dozen people were attending the cookout when the mystery shooter started blasting, the woman said.
“It was a regular cookout. People just hanging out,” said a 28-year-old woman who witnessed the bloody scene. “There were four or five shots. I saw two guys who got hit. They rolled them out and put them in an ambulance.”
”It’s crazy,” she added.
So far no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, police said, adding an investigation is underway.
