An investigation is underway into a Harlem shooting that left one man struck in the leg Monday evening, cops said.
Police responded to the location where an unidentified man suffered a gunshot wound around 6:28 p.m. near West 113 St. and Lenox Ave. EMS transported the victim to St. Lukes Hospital, where he was in stable condition, officials said.
One person of interest was taken into custody; no charges were immediately filed.
Officials say there were shots fired by police at the location, but that the victim was not struck by officers, according to ABC7.
