A woman was raped at knifepoint by a stranger who knocked at her Queens apartment door then forced his way inside, police said Sunday.
The attacker knocked and found the 23-year-old victim’s apartment door unlocked on 94th Ave. near 148th St. in Jamaica about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, cops said.
The victim didn’t realize the intruder was someone she didn’t know until it was too late, police sources said. He grabbed a kitchen knife from the apartment and threatened her with it, source said.
The attacker forced her into a bedroom, raped her, then swiped her phone, a knife and bed sheets before leaving, NBC 4 New York reported.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Cops are still looking for the suspect.
