Yankees add Camilo Doval from Giants: source

The Yankees didn’t stop revamping their bullpen until the final minutes before Thursday’s MLB trade deadline.

Moments before the 6 p.m. cutoff, the Yankees reached a deal to acquire closer Camilo Doval from the San Francisco Giants, the Daily News confirmed.

The Giants received a four-prospect package that includes catcher Jesus Rodriguez, third baseman Parks Harbor and right-hander Trystan Vrieling, according to YES Network.

The right-hander has a 3.09 ERA and 15 saves in 19 opportunities this season.

The addition of Doval followed the Yankees’ earlier acquisitions on Thursday of closer David Bednar from the Pittsburgh Pirates and fellow right-hander Jake Bird from the Colorado Rockies.

This is a developing story. Check back for details.
