Liam Neeson recalls falling for late Natasha Richardson

Liam Neeson is looking back at falling in love with late wife Natasha Richardson, amid his reported new romance with “The Naked Gun” co-star Pamela Anderson.

The Tony- and Oscar-nominated actor, 73, told The New York Times that “it was great” acting alongside his late wife in their 1993 “Anna Christie” revival “every night … and falling in love.”

Neeson shares sons Micheál, 30, and 28-year-old Daniel with the “Parent Trap” star, who he married in 1994.

Neeson also recalled that it was Richardson who notified him of the surprise box office success of “Taken,” when she came upstairs “giggling, with a tray carrying tea and a bran muffin,” per the Times.

Richardson was taken off life support in early 2009 at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, just days after suffering a brain injury during a skiing accident at a Canadian resort.

Neeson’s love life has remained under the radar ever since. That is until he and 58-year-old Anderson cozily embarked on their “Naked Gun” press tour and a source confirmed the on-screen love interests are “smitten” in their real life “budding romance.”

He told “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Wednesday that the “Last Showgirl” star “made me sourdough loaves during the shoot, bran muffins, which I love.”
