Cops are investigating the death of a man found inside a Bronx motel, police said Saturday.
The man was found sprawled out on the floor inside a room at the Deegan Motel on Bailey Ave. near W. 238th St. in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday, officials said.
The man suffered a head injury before he fell unconscious, cops said.
He died at the scene. His name was not immediately disclosed as cops tracked down the victim’s relatives.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine just how he died.
No arrests have been made. It was not immediately clear if the victim was staying at the motel with anyone at the time of his death.
When reached by phone, a motel staffer confirmed the death, but declined further comment.
