‘Jeopardy!’ takes aim at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

“Jeopardy!” has some bad blood.

On the Wednesday episode of “Jeopardy!,” one answer read, “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? is hosted by this man who’s maybe more famous as a BF than a 3-time Super Bowl champ.”

The answer, of course, was Travis Kelce, 35, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end who has been dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, 34.

Derek, a contestant, swiftly answered the $200 clue.

One audience member watching at home wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “Jeopardy with some Travis Kelce shade tonight.

Another snarked, “Jeopardy was NASTY with travis kelce today.”

Kelce and Swift have been romantically linked since September 2023. Swift has attended a slew of Chiefs games over the past year to support her boyfriend, while Kelce has been spotted at numerous Swift concerts. Swift has gotten criticism for attending games.

Since Kelce has plenty of his own accomplishments, it was a jab for “Jeopardy!” to say that he’s most famous for dating Swift.

Kelce is also a newly minted actor, co-starring on the FX show “Grotesquerie.” Emmy-winning actress Niecy Nash, who stars on the show, told The Post about working with Kelce, “Travis Kelce is greedy, he does eat a lot. A lot! But other than me teasing him about that, we really had a good time working together.”

She added, “He’s so charming, very wonderful, he came to work prepared. A professional, all the way around. I really enjoyed working with him, and I enjoyed him as a person.”

As the “Jeopardy!” clue said, Kelce also made his game show host debut in October, hosting Prime Video’s, “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”

In the show, celebrities help contestants answer trivia questions about a variety of topics, for a $100,000 prize.

The athlete isn’t the only Kelce brother to make a “Jeopardy!” appearance. His fellow NFL player brother, Jason, 37, appeared on a May episode of “Jeopardy! Masters” to read the clues from a category titled “The World Revolves Around Jason Kelce.”

While on the show, Jason read the lyrics to the Salt-N-Pepa song “Push It,” which is a reference to the Philadelphia Eagles Tush Push play.

“I was a key part of our quarterback sneak known as the Tush Push,” he said in a prerecorded video on the show. “So I always smile knowingly when I hear their song, ‘Ah, push it, push it good. Ah, push it, push it real good.’”

After the episode aired in May, the brothers spoke about it on their “New Heights” podcast

“It is flawless execution,” Travis said, praising Jason’s line delivery.

Jason explained, “I just repeated like a parrot what the fine people at ‘Jeopardy!’ told me to say.  They came by and we recorded it in one afternoon. They made it very easy.”
