A man was shoved from behind onto a Manhattan subway station’s tracks by a stranger in an unprovoked attack — but the victim managed to climb back onto the platform before a train arrived, cops said Sunday.
The 44-year-old victim was standing on the No. 1 train platform at the 50th St. station when someone pushed him from behind onto the uptown tracks about 7:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.
After clambering back onto the platform, medics took him to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition with face injuries, cops said.
The pusher ran off and has not been caught.
Cops are looking for a suspect about 6-feet wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, a tan baseball hat and a black book bag.
