Hulk Hogan’s first wife mourns late wrestlers 72nd birthday

Professional wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan was remembered by his first wife Monday on what would’ve been the grappler’s 72nd birthday.

“Me and Hulkster … 1981 Happy Birthday Terry … I love and miss you so much,” Linda Hogan posted on Instagram alongside a 46-year-old photo of the two of them together.

Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died July 24 from a heart attack in his Florida home. He married Linda Claridge in 1983. The pair divorced in 2009.

They shared a son and a daughter who appeared with them on the reality TV show “Hogan Knows Best” from 2005 to 2007. Hogan married two more times and was still with his third wife, Sky Daily, when he died.

Linda Hogan wrote on Instagram after her ex-husband’s death that she was “melting down” without him.

“It’s hitting me so hard,” she wrote. “I loved Hulkster more than he loved me.”

While the towering wrestler may have moved on, his 65-year-old first wife indicated she wasn’t as fortunate.

“You were my man. The only man for me,” she wrote on July 19.

Hogan was celebrated as a hero by many when he died. President Trump called him a “great man.”

Hogan spoke at the Republican National Committee convention in July 2024 where he was showered with applause.

Others remembered him for his messy divorce from Linda Hogan, a publicly litigated sex tape scandal and racist remarks that got him suspended from the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. He was reinstated in 2018.
