Nets reveal 2025-26 NBA regular season schedule

The Nets are scheduled for only two nationally televised games and 14 back-to-back sets in the 2025-26 NBA season. Notably, restricted free agent Cam Thomas, still seeking a new contract, was absent from the team promotional art released with Thursday’s schedule announcement.

In July, the Nets announced a four-game preseason schedule, including a home game at Barclays Center against Hapoel “Bank Yahav” Jerusalem on Saturday, Oct. 4. They will then travel to Macao for two NBA China Games against the Phoenix Suns on Friday, Oct. 10 and Sunday, Oct. 12, at The Venetian Arena.

Brooklyn will conclude its preseason schedule against the Toronto Raptors on Friday, Oct. 17, at Scotiabank Arena. The Nets will begin the regular season in Charlotte on Wednesday, Oct. 22, followed by their home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, Oct. 24.

The Nets’ two nationally televised games will be against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, Nov. 3, streaming on Peacock, and the Chicago Bulls on Friday, Jan. 16, broadcast on ESPN. Brooklyn will face the Knicks on Nov. 9, Nov. 24, Jan. 21 and March 20.

The Nets will play their first NBA Cup game as part of East Group B on Nov. 7 against the Detroit Pistons, though Group Play games across the league tip off on Oct. 31. Their second, third and fourth Group Play games are scheduled for Nov. 14 against the Orlando Magic, Nov. 21 against the Boston Celtics and Nov. 28 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
