Social media star Nash Grier’s mother-in-law, Nikki Giavasis, has been found safe and sound after mysteriously disappearing in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Giavasis vanished on Tuesday, according to police. Authorities were notified of her disappearance immediately as Grier’s wife, Taylor Giavasis, shared a photo of her mother on social media.
“🚨 MISSING PERSON 🚨,” Taylor wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. She described her mom at 5ft3, with tattoos of “angel wings with the names ‘Mal’ and ‘Noa’ on arm.”
Prior to being found on Wednesday, Nikki was last seen Monday at Fort Lauderdale Beach, police said.
“Nikki’s family is urgently seeking any information regarding her whereabouts,” the caption read, urging anyone who may have seen her to get in contact with them or the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
Grier, who boasts more than 13.5 million followers on Instagram, has yet to comment on his mother-in-law’s disappearance.
However, the Vine star’s wife told TMZ that her mother was last at a Fort Lauderdale hotel and told her over the phone that she was heading to an Airbnb.
Concerns were sparked after Nikki never arrived to the rental property, and her phone was later shut off.
Police announced Nikki was found safe a day after going missing. No other details were immediately available.
The Post has reached out to Fort Lauderdale Police Department for further comment.
Grier, for his part, earned a loyal social media following after finding success on the now-defunct app Vine, where he shared short comedic skits and lifestyle videos.
In the late 2010s, he and his brother, Hayes, were part of Magcon — a so-called “meet and greet convention” for social media stars.
The content creators were deemed “a boy-band phenomenon without the band.”
The social media star, 27, wed Taylor in 2024 after nearly a decade of dating. The pair, who share son Malakai, 6, and daughter Noa, 3, were engaged for five years before officially tying the knot.
Grier opened up about the pair’s relationship as well as fatherhood in a 2020 YouTube video.
“I mean, when our relationship really started heating up, I was definitely prioritizing her in every aspect of life. I was always thinking about her and what she was doing or what she wanted to do,” he said at the time.
“I feel like we’ve gotten tighter and grown closer if that was possible.”
