Lil Nas X was reportedly hospitalized in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The “Old Town Road” singer, 26, bizarrely strolled down a busy LA street in nothing but white underwear and cowboy boots, as seen in a video obtained by TMZ, before cops reportedly took him to the hospital.
A spokesperson for the LAPD, who didn’t give the name of the suspect, told The Post: “This morning, around 5:50 a.m., officers responded to the 11000 block of Ventura Boulevard for a nude man walking in the street. Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose.”
According to TMZ, Nas was roaming around Ventura Boulevard at around 4 a.m. A fan who drove past Nas reportedly heard the singer say he was heading to a party.
The Grammy winner placed an orange traffic cone on his head at one point during the incident.
After police were called to the scene, Nas reportedly charged at the officers before they subdued him and put him in handcuffs, per the outlet.
The rapper may be facing charges after he’s treated.
The Post has reached out to Nas’ rep for comment.
Before Thursday’s incident, Nas — whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill — shared nearly a dozen pictures on Instagram of his messy house with pieces of art and furniture scattered throughout.
Alongside a mirror selfie image, he wrote, “And just like that she’s back. We’ve all waited so long. When dreamworld needed her the most. 😕🥲.”
Nas’ caption for another selfie read, “OH NO sHES GONE MAD! CRAZY I TELL U! 😭🙏🏾😈🫦🫶🏾❤️.”
Nas previously opened up about how he began to self-medicate after his grandmother’s death in 2018.
“My grandmother passing— she was the first person close to me who died,” he told Variety in Jan. 2020. “It was devastating. And it made me a hypochondriac: I’d wake up, heart racing. It was scary.”
Nas added that he started “smoking [weed] heavily.”
“But then I started feeling more connected with the universe, and taking everything as a sign,” he shared.
Nas also told Variety that his mom is “an addict.”
“I never really talk about my mom. She’s an addict so we don’t have the closest relationship. Even trying to get her better — things didn’t quite work out,” he explained. “But there’s still love.”
In April, Nas dealt with a health crisis when he was hospitalized for partial face paralysis.
The “Montero” singer shared pictures of his half-paralyzed face from the hospital and said, “I can’t even laugh right, bro. What the f–k. Oh my God, oh my God, bro.”
Nas later told fans that his condition was improving.
