Millie Bobby Brown adopts baby girl with Jake Bongiovi

“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown is a new mom after adopting a baby girl with her husband Jake Bongiovi.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” the pair announced in an Instagram post.“And then there were 3.”

The couple’s announcement comes months after the Emmy nominee opened up about her desire to start a family.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19,” Brown shared on the SmartLess podcast. “This has been my thing since before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”

She continued, “Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally. It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.”

Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2024 followed by a bigger celebration in Italy. The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2021 when Bongiovi posted a selfie with the “Damsel” star on Instagram.

The British actress says she and Bongiovi plan on having a “big family.”

“I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different than adopting.”
