Police responded to a shooting around 2:43 p.m. inside a building near East. 178th St. and Julio Torres Pl. in the West Farms neighborhood, where they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the back, authorities said.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died, police said.
