A Bronx man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly raped a 36-year-old woman and stole cash from her in another Bronx street rape incident.

A man was arrested and hit with a slew of charges Monday for allegedly raping a 36-year-old woman and stealing cash from her in the Bronx — the latest bust amid a disturbing number of recent sexual assaults, police said.

Kenneth Siriboe, 21 — led out of the 52nd Precinct by detectives — was charged with rape, robbery, strangulation, burglary, criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal trespass, assault and sex abuse, cops said. According to police, Siriboe approached the victim, grabbed her by the neck and sexually assaulted her Sunday around 5 a.m. near East Gun Hill Rd. and Putnam Pl. in Norwood.

Police executed a search warrant at a Bronx apartment building where Siriboe was staying after getting a tip from a person who recognized him from surveillance photos that had been released, cops and police sources told the Daily News.

Siriboe — who lives in New Jersey and has no prior arrests — was dressed in a black jacket, black pants and white sneakers when he took cash from the woman before fleeing on foot, heading east on Gun Hill Rd., cops said. EMS transported the victim to North Central Bronx hospital, where she was in stable condition.

Siriboe’s arraignment in Bronx Criminal Court was pending Monday evening.

The incident follows a Saturday arrest of another man whom police believe raped a 25-year-old woman in the Bronx on Sept. 13.

Zion Exum, 26, was hit with rape and ordered held on $200,000 cash bail and $600,000 insured and partially secured bond at his Sunday arraignment in Bronx Criminal Court.

Exum allegedly approached the victim and began talking with her around 4:05 a.m. near E. 212th St. and Paulding Ave. in Williamsbridge before attacking her, cops said, adding he allegedly wrapped his arms around the victim and threw her to the ground before forcibly raping her.

EMS transported the victim to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she was in stable condition.

On Sept. 19, police arrested another man in the rape of a 19-year-old woman who was sitting on a Bronx park bench.

Xavier Chapman, 30, was charged with rape, sex abuse and harassment for sexually assaulting the woman near Park Ave. and E. 183rd St. in Belmont on Sept 17 around 3 a.m., cops said. The victim refused medical treatment on scene.

So far in 2025, rape incidents have jumped a disturbing 32.6% — with a total of 407 incidents compared with 307 incidents in 2024, according to NYPD crime statistics.
