Alec Baldwin isn’t two-stepping away from sharing his opinion.
The “Second Nature” star, 67, earned a 10 from his wife Hilaria Baldwin, as he supported her during her debut performance on Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars” Tuesday night.
However, during the wellness influencer’s rehearsal alongside partner Gleb Savchenko, Baldwin couldn’t help but chime in with a thought – or two.
“I was starstruck,” the dance pro, 42, exclusively told The Post after the show’s premiere. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, a dream come true.’ I need some acting lessons. It was amazing. Such a cool guy, so supportive. He came to our rehearsals a couple of times. We danced together. He gave us some notes, too.”
“He always has notes,” added Hilaria, 41. “Always notes!”
For viewers who are hoping to catch a glimpse of the A-lister on the ballroom floor, there’s only one way to make that a reality.
“You’ve got to vote for us because it might just happen if we just stay in,” Hilaria teased.
“He’s actually going to be working a lot over the next couple of months,” the author confessed. “So we’re going to be very bi-coastal.”
The mom-of-seven, who tied the knot with the Hollywood vet in 2012, has been taking social media by storm before joining the coveted competition show.
Despite posting a series of dance videos, Hilaria promises she wasn’t trying to cha cha her way into the ballroom.
“The true story is, I am new to TikTok. I’ve only been on it for a handful of months, so I was trying to understand it. I was like, ‘Okay, TikTok dances, I’m trying.’ I, of course, made Alec do it with me, as most wives do,” the TLC star explained. “And then, like a few days before, they call me and they’re like, ‘Do you want to do this?’”
At first, Hilaria wasn’t sure she could jive with the opportunity.
“I was like, it’s crazy because I have to move seven kids here. I never thought about doing this show in my life,” she stressed. “And I got everybody on a plane and we came out here and this is what we’re doing.”
After relocating from New York City, Hilaria admitted she’s had other things on her mind besides the ballroom, especially when it comes to her kids with Baldwin: Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 5, María, 4, and Ilaria, 2. The actor also shares daughter Ireland, 29, with his ex, Kim Basinger.
“But it was like the day of [and] we’re finding a place to live, two days ago, we’re figuring out school, like all of the things, as other moms know, there’s a lot of moving parts with kids,” she noted.
“I wish I had been campaigning because this is so fun. I wish I did it a long time ago!”
In fact, Baldwin was the one that has “been wanting me to do this forever,” Hilaria quipped.
“It’s almost like he would have been the one campaigning for me,” she continued, “and I was like, ‘That’s crazy, I can’t do that. I’m a mom of seven. I broke my hip. I can’t do that.’ He and everybody who called in to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ to recommend me and everybody here in the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ family, that’s who got me here. And I’m very grateful because it’s a dream come true.”
As Hilaria embarks on week two of the ABC series, she hopes America keeps one thing in mind while watching.
“I think one of the most important things I’ve learned from being around of a lot of people over the past 15 years who are spoken about in the press and by other people, is learn who they are from them. That is one of the most important things. I don’t read stuff about other people. I want to hear what they have to say. And I hope that everybody does that with us.”
