Amanda Bynes denies Dan Schneider got her pregnant at 13

Amanda Bynes has spoken out about the viral rumor that disgraced Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider got her pregnant at age 13.

The former child star, 39, told TMZ on Thursday that the TikTok clip that appears to show her making the accusation against Schneider, 59, is fake.

The video, according to Bynes, was spliced together with other unrelated clips to manufacture “lies for click bait.”

Bynes also clarified that the first clip in the TikTok is from a recent Instagram Story she posted of her with her boyfriend.

The since-deleted video, which came from a Bynes fan account, shows the “All That Alum” on the screen with the text, “The man I got pregnant with him [sic] at the age of 13! 😭.”

The video then cut to a clip of a young Bynes wearing a bikini sitting in a hot tub with Schneider. The scene was from a recurring sketch from Bynes’ sketch comedy series “The Amanda Show,” which aired on Nickelodeon from 1999 to 2002.

The Post has reached out to Schneider’s rep for comment.

Schneider — who worked on shows such as “The Amanda Show,” “All That” and “iCarly” — was accused of sexually abusing child stars in the 2024 ID docuseries “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”

In the series, Schneider was accused of promoting a toxic work environment and hiring three known sex offenders — production assistant Jason Handy, animator Ezel Channel and acting coach Brian Peck.

Schneider — who parted ways with Nickelodeon in March 2018 —subsequently sued the producers of “Quiet on Set” for defamation.

“Recently, the docuseries ‘Quiet on Set’ highlighted mistakes I made and poor judgment I exhibited during my time at Nickelodeon, most of which happened decades ago during my early career as a producer, working on shows for Tollin/Robbins Productions,” Schneider said in a statement in May 2024.

“However, after seeing ‘Quiet on Set ‘and its Trailer, and the reactions to them, I sadly have no choice but to take legal action against the people behind it,” the statement continued. “In their successful attempt to mislead viewers and increase ratings, they went beyond reporting the truth and falsely implied that I was involved in or facilitated horrific crimes for which actual child predators have been prosecuted and convicted.”

Bynes, for her part, stepped back from acting at 24. Two years later, she was charged with DUI before getting into a series of other debacles with the law over the next few years.

In 2013, the “Hairspray” vet was placed on a 5150 hold for 72 hours at a hospital, after which her parents put her in a conservatorship.

The conservatorship was officially terminated in 2022. However, Bynes was placed on another 72-hour involuntary psychiatric hold in 2023 after she was spotted without her clothing in downtown Los Angeles.
