Amy Duggar King, known for appearing on her family’s reality series “19 Kids and Counting,” shared a serious update this week regarding her husband, Dillon King.
In a social media post on Thursday, the former reality star revealed King’s been dealing with “life-threatening” health issues.
“Happy Birthday to my favorite person on the planet!” she captioned an Instagram photo of her husband lying in a hospital bed, noting that they’d normally “be celebrating in a huge way” but instead “are facing some possible life-threatening medical concerns.”
“Today I’d like to ask for some prayers on his behalf,” the 38-year-old influencer continued. “I know God has him, but we welcome the prayers!! I can’t think of a better gift for him!”
She provided no further details on her husband’s condition.
The couple, who wed in 2015, share 5-year-old son, Daxton Ryan King.
Duggar King came to fame while appearing on the TLC series “19 Kids and Counting” from 2008 to 2015. The reality show followed the lives of her conservative, Christian uncle Jim Bob Duggar, his wife Michelle and massive clan of their 19 kids.
Duggar King has been estranged from the family after speaking out against her cousin Josh, who’s currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for receiving and possessing child pornography.
