Self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate is adamant that he did not attack his ex-girlfriend, model Bri Stern, during an sexual encounter earlier this month.
Lawyers for the 38-year-old former kickboxer-turned-right-wing influencer told TMZ early Thursday that Tate “vehemently rejects this outrageous allegation and will relentlessly pursue legal action against anyone involved in spreading this blatant falsehood.”
On Wednesday, sources with direct knowledge told the outlet Stern filed a sexual assault report in California, claiming Tate violently choked her at the Beverly Hills Hotel on March 11. She says she begged him repeatedly to stop, but he refused her pleas until he finished having sex with her.
The outlet also published photos of Stern’s bruised face, which she claims occurred as a result of the alleged assault. However, Tate’s legal team says the photos were neither taken on the night in question nor in the bathroom of their hotel room, as Stern previously said they were.
“Once again, we witness the media recklessly publishing a one-sided narrative, disregarding the most fundamental facts,” his lawyers argued. “The photos? … They weren’t even snapped at night. No bruising. No evidence whatsoever.”
Tate’s team also denied text messages sent between him and Stern, in which he allegedly spoke of beating and abusing her. Among screenshots of those supposed texts, Tate appears to write, “Whats [sic] the point in having you if i dont beat you and impregnate you … I really love hitting you its [sic] very good for me.”
According to Tate’s attorneys, there is “no verification, no metadata” to prove the authenticity of those texts.
“In an era where AI can generate entire conversations in seconds, it’s impressive how quickly unverified screenshots become ‘evidence’ when they suit the narrative,” they said. “The Tates have become the quintessential villains in media fabrication, and while this may create convenient clickbait, it won’t withstand scrutiny in reality — or in a courtroom.”
Tate and his younger brother, Tristan, are currently facing charges of human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women in Romania. Andrew Tate has also been charged with rape.
Weeks after being allowed to return to the United States, the brothers flew back to Romania last weekend to check with local authorities in compliance with requirements in the case. Stern says she only felt safe enough going to police after Tate had left the country.
