Apparent suicide at Disney World resort days after Disneyland guest dies

A body was found at a Walt Disney World resort Tuesday evening in what Florida authorities have identified as an apparent suicide, days after a Disneyland guest lost consciousness at the California park and ultimately died.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that deputies were alerted to a deceased person at the Florida theme park’s Contemporary Resort, which is in walking distance to the Magic Kingdom.

OCSO told TMZ and WKMG’s Click Orlando that the case is an apparent suicide.

The hotel’s monorail stop was out of service amid the incident, according to a Disney World Reddit thread.

The Daily News has reached out to Disney and OCSO to clarify identifying details about the individual, none of which were immediately available.

Just last week, a 60-something-year-old woman became unresponsive while on the Haunted Mansion ride — part of which features a walking tour —  and was ultimately declared dead at a hospital near Disney’s Anaheim park.

An anonymous source said the woman suffered a heart attack and was “declared DOA once she reached the hospital,” per “Disney Scoop Guy” Matt Desmond at the time.
